Team for Leicester
A massive test, this game. Third against fourth - who would have thought it? Given the likelihood of Liverpool making it into the top four, the only way we are also going to make it is if we can displace Leicester, which is achievable, but it's going to have to be a bloody good run-in and a top performance in this game to get to one point behind them. Look at their last 3 games compared to ours and you'll see why I think it can be done.

As far as I know, it's good news and bad news on injuries. The bad news seems to be that Antonio is out and Ogbonna still isn't ready, but the good news is that Lingard and Soucek are OK.

So I think the main issue is going to be whether we stay with a three at the back with Arthur at LWB, or a four at the back with Benrahma on the wing. Arthur did some good things at Wolves but by his own admission was struggling for fitness. A close call but I would go for Benny for his ability to carry the ball forward. A big concern is the loss of height due to the absence of Rice and Antonio, which makes us less effective at both attacking and defending set-pieces. Let's hope this team can continue to surprise us.

Fabianski
Coufal Dawson Diop Cresswell
Noble Soucek
Fornals Lingard Benrahma
Bowen

I just see him making the same mistakes as I do Fredericks. He's not really an attacker as he doesn't score or assist enough then makes silly mistakes.
Hopefully Ogbonna's experiance will see us be more steady. But like many would rather see Johnson playing but he made be needed. Not sure how bad Noble's injury is,he's been better than expected the last 2 games but feel he should be subbed in both games. Newcastle next and he had a terrible game last time out against them as they worked him out.
Maybe he's not running around so much as our furthest player up next to our attacker.

Re: Team for Leicester
daveyg - ha! Fair enough, he was completely to blame for their first goal, but apart from that had a decent game. As I said on the match thread, it's totally missing the point to blame Arthur or Benny for Leicester's comeback - Moyes needs to sort out why we turn to shit in the last quarter of games. And you and COYI need to sort out your obsessions.

For that he did well getting in that position.l'll give him that. It was fortunate that it ended with Fornals,as the commentator said, who's touch made it look easy but as the commentator also said it was a superb bit of skill.
As for today well...I'll let you speak about that EXILE.

I'd sort of like to see Diop given a place beside Ogbonna. They both have the pace to deal with Vardy, and Oggie is so calm and solid these days that I think he'll bring out the best in the young and nervy Diop.

daveyg - yeah, it was really half-brained the way Arthur rushed onto that flick from Lingard and passed to Fornals for our 2nd goal against Wolves. Try not to embarrass yourself as much as COYI.

This is the time for Benrahma to shine.

Antonio is out, LIngard has taken some pressure off.

Said has had a few months to settle in.

I really hope he can show more, because I believe he's really talented.

Re: Team for Leicester
Anyone thinking Fredericks should be in the starting 11 seriously needs to learn more about the game.
We've already got in Masuaku half a brain footballer . Let's not go with a twin combination of dumb footballers.
Watch how many times Masuaku gives the ball away and does nothing to get the ball back.

Re: Team for Leicester
The only reason for dropping Diop would be if Oggy is back.

I can't see him disrupting the back further. We need pace back there and not wide.

Morning stalker, son.

I think I have made my point, but just for you: no way should the fancy dan, show pony, Championship player ZERO GOALS Benrahma be in the starting XI ;-)
